It feels like Dallas restaurants are still cleaning up the dishes from Easter, and yet Mother's Day is already on the horizon. In 2022, the date is May 8 and there are all sorts of ways to show you care, but the one we care about here is dining out.

Restaurants are hosting brunch and/or dinner, with some still offering options for dining-in or taking-out. The opportunity to make reservations is already underway, and some events may already be sold out.

Here are the Dallas-Fort Worth restaurants serving Mother's Day feasts (celebrations take place on May 8 unless otherwise noted):

Anise. Regular menu, along with one special, what that special is, they do not say, plus half-price wines. 10 am-3 pm, 5-10 pm. 469-659-6376.

Blue Mesa Grill. Brunch features biscuits & gravy, migas, enchiladas, Adobe Pie, omelets, migas, huevos rancheros, chicken & waffles, chimayo corn, salads, fruit, and house-made desserts including churros and strawberry shortcake. Bonefish Grill. Special dishes and drinks include Caprese Dip with artisan bread, shrimp skewer, smoked old fashioned, strawberry citrus martini, and seasonal carrot lava cake with a cream cheese molten center, topped with whipped cream.

Capital Grille. Brunch specials include mimosas, lobster frittata with poached lobster tails, and flourless chocolate-espresso cake, plus a la carte dinner options available all day. 11 am-2 pm.

Carrabba's. Special entrées include filet Marsala featuring a 9-oz filet mignon with mushrooms and Lombardo wine sauce, and a tomato Caprese with fresh burrata. The Tramonto in Tuscany cocktail has Lunazul Blanco tequila, sour mix, OJ, and Bonizio Rosso, and there's Berries & Butter Cake for dessert. Dine-in or takeout.

Cheddar's Scratch Kitchen. Special Strawberry Sweet-tart cocktail features vodka, raspberry, pineapple juice, strawberry puree, and sliced strawberries for $7.49, available only in-restaurant, served in a limited edition, take-home glass. Family Bundles feeding 4-6 include choice from chicken tenders, salmon, or a combo with two sides and croissants, starting at $27.

Copper & Steel. Hyatt Regency Frisco-Dallas restaurant is serving brunch with complimentary glass of rosé for mothers and specialties such as cocktail shrimp & snow crab claws, black pepper crusted prime rib with horseradish créme & rosemary au jus, omelet station, petite lemon meringe pie, and French macarons. 8 am-2 pm with live music from 10 am-2 pm. $48, or $26 for 12 and under. 469-598-1335.

Crescent Club. Brunch buffet at Hotel Crescent Court includes omelet station, waffle station, salad bar, lobster bisque, pastries, muesli "martinis," granola yogurt parfait, bacon, chicken-apple sausage, French toast, pastrami, pork belly, 15-spice salmon, crab cake benedict, seafood display with smoked salmon, shrimp, crab, oysters, clams, seaweed, and desserts including pomegranate-champagne opera cake, strawberry cheesecake, chocolate-pecan tart, coffee tart, and lemon-poppyseed cake. $125, or $60 for 12 and under. 11 am-2 pm.

Eddie V's. Three-course brunch menu includes lobster quiche, avocado with jumbo lump crab, and cocktails such as mimosas, bloody marys, and bellinis. 10 am-2 pm. $49, or $15 for 12 and under. 214-890-1500.

Elm & Good. Buffet includes made-to-order omelets, seafood display, bloody marys, mimosas, live music, plus complimentary flower and pink cocktail or rosé for every mom. $75, reservations recommended. 10 am-3 pm. 469-498-2525.

400 Gradi. Brunch includes ricotta omelet, steak & eggs, pancakes with berry compote, steak or shrimp salad, mixed breads with salted maple butter & hazelnut spread, pastas, and pizzas including a brunch pizza with salami, eggs, cherry tomatoes, fontina, fior di latte, and garlic. 11 am-3 pm. 972-850-9053.

Gorji. Four-course meal includes choices from escargot, garlic & Bulgarian feta, chili & yogurt over avocado, smoked salmon & arugula, baby greens salad, Romaine & kale Caesar, lamb & quail, bone-in pork chop, beef tenderloin with Gorgonzola gnocchi, spinach & goat cheese lasagna, flourless chocolate cake, or Kefir cheese with dates. Knife Dallas. Brunch with pork belly benedict, brioche French toast, steak & eggs, and burgers, plus complimentary mimosa for mom. 11:30 am-2 pm. 214-443-9339.

La Madeleine. Bakery cafe chain has two heart-shaped cheesecakes for Mother's Day: Raspberry cheesecake topped with raspberries, and chocolate ganache cheesecake with a chocolate cookie crust, chocolate cheesecake filling, and chocolate ganache on top. $9.29 each. Mimosas featuring a single-serving carafe of orange juice and a mini-bottle of J. Roget champagne are $6.

La Mina. Regular menu plus one special whose identity is TBD, plus $5 specials on bloody Marys, bloody Marias, and Tepache mimosas. 469-659-6375.

Logan's Roadhouse. Regular menu plus special 12-ounce Prime Rib, with choice of two sides, or bacon mac & cheese and red wine-garlic mushrooms, available only during Mother’s Day weekend. First 50 moms to dine in at any Logan’s on May 8 get a free, limited-edition koozie. May 6-8, open early at 10 am.

The Mercury. Brunch buffet with prime rib, fried chicken, enchiladas, shrimp, sushi rolls, oysters, eggs benedict, chilaquiles, omelets, pancakes, waffles, bacon, sausage, smoked salmon, Oriental chicken salad, tomato mozzarella salad, deviled eggs, pecan pie, rice pudding, flan, chocolate mousse cake, carrot cake, white chocolate cheesecake, brownies, chocolate covered strawberries, tarts, biscuits & gravy, apple cobbler, mac & cheese, creamed spinach, Caesar salad. 10 am-3 pm. $85, or $65 for 10 and under. 972-960-7774.

Meridian. Four-course brunch with choices from grilled "beach cheese" on a stick, lyonnaise salad, smoked ora king salmon, scrambled egg with  caviar, laminated brioche French toast, sausage with potatoes, black beans, and egg, quiche Lorraine, Wagyu picanha & eggs, ricotta ravioli, cheesecake, yucca-coconut cake, and brigadeiro ice cream. 11 am-3 pm. $65 or $25 for kids menu. 469-659-6382.

Monarch. Modern Italian dinner menu with beloved favorites such as meatballs, veal chop parmesan, and yellowfin tuna tartare, as well as an exclusive Mother’s Day entrée: Georges Banks scallop with crab arancini, English peas, and morels, for $56. 4-10 pm.

Perry's. Mother’s Day feature consists of Perry's Filet Stuffed Roast: Filet mignon stuffed with spinach, mushrooms, garlic, onion, fresh herbs, and three cheese for $49. Brunch cocktails including brandy milk punch, bloody Mary and mimosas, 11 am-4 pm. Family-style filet stuffed roast meal for four for $179 or an individual filet stuffed roast for $49 to-go.

Pluckers. Wing chain with 28 flavors of sauce is giving moms a free meal, although the offer is valid only for Pluckers Club Members. A membership costs $20, which gets you other free things if you join. Way to use Mother's Day as a membership pitch, Pluckers.

Razzoo's Cajun Cafe. Two special dishes returning for Mother's Day include shrimp en brochette with bacon-wrapped shrimp stuffed with jalapeno; and Creole pork chops with two boneless pork chops, breaded and fried, then topped with jalapeño cheese sauce. (They'll be available through July.)

Sambuca360 Plano. Brunch selections include Belgian waffles, eggs benedicts, omelets, fruit & cheese, sausage, bacon, biscuits & gravy, sweet breads, eggs, shrimp cocktail, salmon with dill cream sauce, chicken, roast beef & ham carving stations, mixed salad greens, and desserts. 10:30 am-3 pm. $35, or $13 for 10 and under.

Sea Breeze Fish Market & Grill. Three-course dinner for dine-in or takeout includes choices from salmon dip, tuna nachos, shrimp cocktail, sea scallops, horseradish potato crusted halibut, blackened red snapper with shrimp garlic butter, flounder with crab butter & arugula pesto, lobster thermidor, asparagus, Brussels sprouts with maple & bacon, whipped potatoes, key lime pie, chocolate cappuccino cheesecake, and carrot cake. 11 am-9 pm. $80, plus $40 for wine pairings. 972-473-2722.

Seasons 52. A la carte brunch includes crab-cheddar quiche, French toast, and shrimp & grits. 10 am-2 pm. Mother's Day box to-go serving 4-6 features choice of spiral ham, cedar plank salmon, or beef tenderloin, plus salad, sides, and dessert. Order by May 2 for pickup on May 7.

Smoky Rose. Brunch menu features avocado toast, chilaquiles, burnt ends & grits, breakfast tacos, bananas Foster French toast, Belgian waffles, and brisket biscuits & gravy, plus $30 mimosa carafes, $28 sangria pitchers, $5 mimosas, and $9 bloody Marys and Texas 75s. Stirr. Brunch features salads such caprese, Caesar, greek pasta, watermelon & feta, plus beef tenderloin, glazed ham, omelets, cheddar au gratin potatoes, creamed spinach, salmon, chicken, blackened redfish, bacon, sausage, biscuits & gravy, cheddar cheese grits, cakes, pies, cheesecakes, and cookies. $42 or $15 for 12 and  under.

Terra. Eataly restaurant will celebrate La Festa della Mamma with brunch toast, asparagus frittata, and a special build-your-own bollicine, a classic Italian sparkling drink with prosecco and two fruit juices. A personal bollicine bar will be served tableside to create a unique refreshing cocktail experience. 10:30 am-3 pm.

Texas Spice. Brunch at Omni Dallas Hotel restaurant with omelet station, chocolate chip waffles, lemon-ricotta blueberries, crab cakes, crawfish bisque, spring pea ravioli, cheese & charcuterie table, carving station, prime rib, scones, raspberry swirl cinnamon rolls, rhubarb pistachio bundt cake, strawberry rhubarb tart tatin, petit fours, and kid buffet with turkey and mac & cheese. 11 am-2 pm. $49, or $25 for 12 and under. 214-979-4529.

III Forks. Special brunch features steak & eggs, filet mignon benedict, crabcake benedict, and lobster tail benedict. Plus breakfast breads from the restaurant's local bakery, and a limited a la carte menu of III Forks favorites. $55, for dine-in or curbside to-go by preorder. Children's brunch with pancakes, sausage, and scrambled eggs is $18. 11 am-3 pm. Regular dinner menu from 3-8 pm.

Toussaint Brasserie. Brunch featurees boeuf bourguignon hash, banana macadamia nut pancakes, lobster benedict, pain perdue, frozen French 75, pineapple upside down French toast with macadamia nuts. 11 am-3 pm. Prices a la carte. 214-765-2311.

Truluck's. Holiday special is Dungeness crab pappardelle pasta with parmesan and peas in a creamy tomato sauce with Indian spices for $59; and blueberry vanilla cake with cream cheese icing and passion fruit creme anglaise for $18.
