More than 22,000 pounds of Healthy Choice frozen meals with beef are being recalled due to the presence of milk, an allergen which is not stated on the product label.

Valley International Cold Storage Acquisition is recalling Healthy Choice Power Bowls Korean-Style Beef frozen meals, which was sold in 9.25-ounce cartons.

There have been no confirmed cases of adverse reactions to the product, as of Monday, Sept. 19.

The frozen meals include a chicken sausage and pepper product that contains milk, the U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) said Saturday.

The recalled products have lot codes of 5246220320 and a “best if used by” date of April 18, 2023.

The cartons, which were sold to retailers nationwide, also bear the establishment number 34622 on the end flap.

FSIS recommends that people check their freezers for the product and urged them “not to consume” the recalled product.

“These products should be thrown away or returned to the place of purchase,” the FSIS said in a release.

Anyone concerned about injury or illness in connection to the recall should consult a healthcare provider, FSIS said.

Questions about the recall can be addressed to the consumer care line for Conagra, the parent company of Healthy Choice foods, at 800-672-8152.
